“Our stay was great. The location is perfect - close to Charlottesville but also quiet and a little bit away from the center of activity. We discovered some great places in Crozet, too. Check-in was super easy, and the place was fun and quirky. Our hosts were excellent. We had a minor issue on day two and the host responded within 10 minutes and had the problem fixed in less than an hour. We had a great trip and we loved the place. ”

The owners have thoughtfully provided everything you need for water adventures—kayaks, paddle boards, a pedal boat, plus life jackets for all ages. “Overall the property was very nice. It was great for a group with adults and teenage kids as there were two masters on the first floor and a hang out space downstairs for the kids. The location and dock for a boat as well as trampoline and second floor dock for jumping were enjoyed by all. Our only issues had to do with the cleanliness not being the best and the lack of some basics like more than one trash bag. If listed, failed to notice that all bedrooms were upstairs with one of the two baths were downstairs. Therefore, half of the group had to travel up and down stairs to use bathroom. The stairs were a real safety hazard! The floor, stair steps and two landings were all finished the same brown glossy color. One person fell and three others had……

“We enjoyed our stay. The house was cute, clean, and convenient to the interstate. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of linens and towels. It could use a new set of cookware, but we were able to cook 2 basic pasta meals with the pots and pans that were there. We loved being able to park our car securely behind the back gate. We also loved that our pup had a yard to roam without having to be leashed. We would definitely stay here again. ”
