“Our family of 5 (two adults and three kids ages 7, 7 and 3.5) really enjoyed our 4-night stay at Eagle's Nest Cottage on Lake Anna. This was our first time visiting Lake Anna. I specifically chose this rental for the amazing view, the ability to swim on the property, the kayaks and paddle boat, the queen sized bunk beds and the fact it was fully renovated. This property did not disappoint. The views of the lake were beautiful. The sun came up over the tree line behind the lake and it was so……

“The cottage was very cute. It definitely could have been cleaner, as there were waxy lip prints on the bedroom window and a few dark smudges on the walls of the bedroom and bathroom. Also, it wasn’t made clear in the description that most of the one-lane, curvy road leading to the property was dirt/gravel. If it had been raining, it would have been pretty treacherous in a small car. My SUV handled it fine, but it did get very dirty. Overall, the property was quiet, comfortable and fairly well……

“If you’re looking for a peaceful, secluded outdoor oasis, then this is the place for you. The accommodations are modest and quite small for a family. However, if you are spending most of your time outside and don’t need a full kitchen then it would probably fit your needs well. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit, taking in the views and soaking in the hot tub. ”
