“We had a wonderful stay at Sally’s cottage. It was so private, peaceful (we don’t count the birds and occasional sheep) and had everything we could have asked for. Sunrise on the front porch with a coffee, kangaroos and birds, to sunset and the stars and satellites in the amazing outdoor bath.We got to experience the farm and watch the shearing too! Sally is a fabulous host and left us with gifts and herbs and tomatoes from her garden! And the beautiful artwork on the walls from local artists……

“We turned up and were given the wrong code. This was corrected in about 10 mins. The host was very apologetic and would look into the error. The property is very nice with a beautiful backdrop of the mountains. Very quite location - perfect. Very good sized home with king size bunk beds and queen beds. “Over charged from the start eventually refundedMess from previous occupants dirty stove etc pool not working spa out of service after being told pool area was completely usable and functional. Hard to get hold of, lots of back and forth very frustrating.Ended up cancelling remaining stay, property not as advertised.Managers of property agreed to refund the majority of money paid due to the numerous disappointments.Ruined the trip won't be back ”

“Needed a short break and Nilgiri Cottage was just the ticket.Adequate sleeping areas for winter (heated with electric blankets) or summer as verandahs are enclosed bedrooms when weather is hot. Kitchen was functional and well equipped.Place was cosy and fitted like a glove to our routine. We visited in winter so room and lounge heating covered those bases. Beds were comfy and the rooms were all clean and welcoming. The heated pool was great for the weather and all the activities on site were so much fun. The highlight is of course the cows!
