“Massimo was an extremely nice host and he prepared an excellent breakfast every day. Massimo made our day - always happy and helpful. The spacious room was very clean (cleaned every day) and had a very nice view to the lake. As an excellent possibility it was possible to have dinner in the b&b twice a week to a cost of 25 euros per person for 3 courses, 1/4l of wine and water! We can highly recommend the place and would like to come back again.”

“Fantastic stay. The view was gorgeous and the staff was so kind. Definitely recommend as it is away from the crowd. The ferries are plentiful if you make sure to time your day well and it’s not too far from the train station. Would highly recommend! ”

“Our stay at Villa Ucci was brilliant. Danilo was an incredible host. He was very kind and hospitable and was there for any needs. The morning breakfast was fabulous and the whole villa screams Italia. Easy in and out and they take care of the rooms very well. Love this place and would definitely go back. ”

“Hotel is a bit out of the way but that suited us. Lovely hotel and friendly staff but not much English spoken. Main issue was the Air Conditioning, or lack of it. They do have in all the rooms but when i asked how to work it they said it is not turned on yet as is not the season! Our room was really hot. We opening the balcony door but as it is on a very busy road the noise was too loud. Such a shame. ”

“Very near the railway station and nice staff. The staff let us settle down those luggage in the room before they clean the room. These are the only GOOD things I can mention. The others are average or slightly below average. I chose it because I only stayed one night before I left by railway and it is really convenient to walk the station, so I sacrifice somethings.”

“We spent 4 nights here and had the breakfast on one occasion. The hotel is perfectly situated between Lenno and Tremezzo ferry stops and has a pizza takeaway, restaurant and a convenience shop within a 5 min walk- in addition to the on site restaurant and bar. The hotel breakfast was worth the €10 pp as there was fresh fruit options, snacks and biscuits, pastry, toast and meats and cheese as well as juices and coffee.
