“Overall, it's a good choice. Good location. Very clean. Pretty quiet. Reception/lobby staff were friendly and helpful. Two things I rated less...the wait staff for the breakfast bar was a little less than optimal. (Dinner staff was great.) Bathroom -- Shower water did not get more than lukewarm. Wall facing hotel room was only slightly frosted glass. “The Amarla is a beautiful property. Gina at the front desk was very helpful. Also, we appreciated the man who carried our bags 6 blocks on the night of our arrival due to roadblocks because of the holiday. I highly recommend - just request room not directly in sun because air conditioner is a little weak. Jenny in the dining room was wonderful and breakfast was absolutely delicious.”
