“We had a really exceptional stay. The building has lots of character and charm. It’s recently renovated and the decor is great. The restaurant is excellent and the pizza option is a great addition to the already extensive menu. The staff couldn’t have done more and service was perfect. We will definitely be back and we’re already checking out the other hotels in the group ”

“Terri was amazing. She greeted us like friends and showed us the room and what a room. There were 3 of us and we had a bedroom and a sitting area with a sofa bed, a bathroom and a kitchenette. “The purpose of my stay in Castle Cary was to go visit the Newt in Somerset.I was warmly greeted and thanks to Martin’s lifts to and from the Newt made it so easy.the house is amazing.the garden backs unto fields.It is idyllic. I recommend this B&B to anyone who loves a beautiful setting”

“You get what you pay for, oh okay its not got lovely gardens to walk through but the hotel building, the service, friendliness of the staff is good. The view from the Terrace bar over the rural landscape of the Somerset levels to Glastonbury Torr lovely. The breakfasts, and evening meal a little pricey but well presented, lovely flavours and great tastes. 3 to 4 days as a base to explore... good spot..... thoroughly recommend.... and boy are we fussy.”
