“This cabin is geared more for Winter and skiing since there is no air conditioning. Our family of 5 guys stayed here on 7/25/2025 because it was not that far from our rafting location, hiking and other attractions in southern VT. The cabin is very clean and the kitchen is stocked for all one's needs. We spent several nights after dinner around the firepit. We very much enjoyed staying here.”

“Space worked well for our family! Kids enjoyed the lower level and everyone liked the hot tub. Several fires in the pit with s'mores!”

“Wilmington and this chalet were both wonderful getaways for my husband and I. The chalet was well equipped, comfortable and cozy and had the bonus of a fantastic location. We hiked Haystack and Hogsback, swam and paddle boarded in Harriman Reservoir, and explored the lovely town (Bartleby's bookstore, breweries, Dot's and Village Roost were our favorites). “Clean, spacious and perfect location!!”

“The house was clean, spacious, and we’ll set up for ski groups. We used the pool and the club house. Plowing was prompt even with a big snow storm. ”

“Fun place”

“Great place to stay on a small lake. Good fishing and lots of salamanders. Couldn't use the fire pit as the chairs had bird poop on them and there was a lot of grass growing into it but the beach was nice and the house was fantastic. ”

“Absolutely beautiful and secluded property that delivered on everything it had promised. The kids adored the game room and movie room particularly and the grown ups loved the hot tub. The owners were really communicative from start to finish and I would fully recommend the lodge for anything from a couple to a large group for a step away from reality with as much wildlife and tranquility as you could want.”

“We rented for about 7 weeks during the ski season. The house is a short 10-15 minute drive from Mount Snow. It's situated high up on Chimney Hill and gets beautiful sunrises. The house itself was well stock with basics and quite comfortable, especially with the large beds and cozy down comforters. We enjoyed using the wood burning stove when it was cold. Joe, the owner, was easy to communicate with. We didn't have any issues with the house. We particularly enjoyed the access to the Chimney Hill……

“Proximity to Mount Snow as a huge plus. The layout of the home, the numbers of bedrooms and bathrooms, and they comfort and fun extras in the house are all a plus. House could use a little bit of upgrading to bring it up to100%”
