“Beautiful hotel close to everything downtown with the best rooftop bar in the city”

“Wonderful hotel next to the pulsating King Street. Excellent room, great breakfast and a fantastic roof top bar. Parking available more or less in the same building as the hotel. I hope to make it back, great base for exploring Charleston, walking distance to a great deal of “must see” places.”

“The Francis Marion hotel is a beautiful historic hotel in Charleston, SC! Every member of their staff was so kind, helpful, and happy! The room was just the right size! The bathroom was a little small. We stayed in a 2-bedroom queen. The views from our room were beautiful! We walked EVERYWHERE! King St is in a great location! There is a free bus that stops right by the hotel! I would recommend parking at a nearby lot that we found out was free on our last day! The parking garage is not……

“This hotel was in a great location on King Street with a rooftop restaurant that had great food and a coffee cafe that was cute and really good! Our room was big and decorated great! It was an old building but completely restored! Vallet and mini jeep free transportation within 2 miles were nice perks! Great experience!”
