“If you are looking for a vfm option in West Bay this hotel is the place. We had room 7 on the first floor, spacious, whirlpool bath and even a teapot. In our opinion 2 negatives for this room, the mattress was way too soft and the seagulls from 0400hrs, can't really do anything about the 2nd being near the sea!!! The breakfast is quality, great choice and only £10 per day. The hotel is not statebor modern if that is what you are looking for, however the atmosphere and staff make up for it.”

“The Shepherds hut was just perfect for a relaxing stay, lots of little thoughtful touches such as home made bread, jam and granola. Very peaceful setting, beautiful garden, welcoming hosts. We loved our stay.”

“Lovely spacious family room with fantastic cooked breakfast choices served in the bedroom. Great shower power. Comfortable bed. Kind and welcoming owner. Some road noise but that wasn't a problem for us and to be expected right next to the A30 which was perfect for visiting the beautiful Devon countryside and coastline right on the doorstep. Very happy with our stay. ”

“We stayed in the deluxe double room and it was beautiful! Hotel was great location for exploring Dorset. Breakfast was perfect and we had dinner there the first night which was excellent. Staff all friendly, helpful. Courtyard garden was lovely. Catered for my gluten intolerance. Would highly recommend ”
