“Just a coule of days away from it all, great little town, good local walks, pub was very friendly and good choice of both food and drinks. Room was big, double bed a little small / short for a 6 footer, could easily have a king size in there. Limited parking at the venue but public parking only 5 mins walk and £9 for 24 hrs.”

“I booked this room to attend my friend’s wedding in Lyme Regis.
The location was amazing but the downside was there was no parking and I had to pay for 24 hour parking in a nearby car park.
The bed was very comfortable and it was great to have bath sheet towels rather than just bath towels.
The shower was an over the bath shower which although adequate would be better if it was a proper shower.”

“We had a lovely stay here in a twin room. The room was rather small with a small bathroom but it was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were fantastic and provided great choices for breakfast and were extra helpful with a parking permit. Extra thought had gone in to guests needs, such as fresh milk in a fridge in the room. We would definitely recommend a stay here to anyone. Thanks.”

“An old hotel with a lot of charm. Staff were excellent although we were served breakdast by a guy in scruffy shorts,. The bedroom & bathroom was large and had all you would need but underbed cleanliness was a miss, didnt look like it had been cleaned and one devan bed base was falling apart. The beds were comfortable though and we slept well. All in all enjoyed the stay just attention to detail needed in rooms.”

“Public area very clean and relaxing. We have stayed several times over the last 40 years and this is the first time ive noticed the building start to age. The room was comfortable with a view of the sea. However the bathroom door needs replacing as damaged and window sill needs sanding down and repainted.
Staff very helpful and friendly.

“My wife and I enjoyed our anniversary at the Beaumont hotel and the staff could not go far enough to accommodate us. We were upgraded to a Seaview room and everything we asked for was accommodated with a smile and promptly without issue. As 40 something adults we did feel a little on the young side. Since the usual clientele are 'mature' but that didn't detract overall. ”

“The staff on reception/bar & food ordering could not have been more helpful. They logged my car in and took the payment to save me doing it. And especially appreciated after a long drive: I was able to choose a couple of things from the menu and a much earned drink and take to my room.
And my room was extremely nice - bed and bedding very comfortable, the right size, bathroom (and shower!) very good and I was able to work at the mini desk the following morning. A huge tick from me.”

Comfortable hotel
"Stayed here for 3 nights on this trip. A very comfortable stay with exceptional service. The air conditioner in the room stopped functioning, but the staff quickly took care of the matter as soon as we reported it and compensated us with many free drink vouchers; the manager got soaked in the process of fixing the air conditioning but continued to apologise to us for the inconvenience. The staff are very welcoming, and the environment is very relaxing. Will highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Exeter.
Special thanks to the hotel manager and one of the hotel staff members for swiftly taking care of the air conditioner issue; despite ending up being wet in the process you both have handled the issue with grace and kindness."
