“Will stay again, location was close to a main snowmobile trail, the owner went overboard making sure we had room to park the trailer. Cabin was clean and warm, including a great ice maker! We had everything we needed for a week in the North! Snowmobiling was great!”

“This was a great property for 3 generations to enjoy and the view across the portage was spectacular with the clean white snow. We had great spaces to be together to play games around the table and to spread out for quiet time. The kitchen worked well for our food prep. The "cabin", was VERY clean & well cared for! I preferred to wash some dishes upon arrival. We would definitely consider staying here again! ”

“It was quite cozy and perfect for a short stay for two of us! It was clean and check in was easy. The doggy blanket and dishes were a cute touch! The only drawbacks were the lack of green space for our pooch to potty, we had to cross a busy road to reach grass. The bed wasn’t very comfortable and we could hear our neighbors above and next door. Don’t let that deter your stay, the close proximity to town and cleanliness made up for the very few drawbacks!”

“We had a great stay! Amazing mornings & sunsets on the dock & lake view. Close to Houghton for campus tour/visiting Tech. Beautiful day trip to Copper Harbor. Taking the kayaks out was easy & fun. Great bird watching & rock hunting nearby. Clean & Cozy. Recommend & will stay again!”

“Outstanding accommodations in every way! The entire process of renting, staying, and departing from this property could not have gone better. The property description was spot-on, and the place is amazing and comfortable for 5 adults. “Very reasonably priced, we came with two couples and 5 men so 9. The lot was plowed and huge so we could easily park 4 trucks with snowmobile trailers. The building is beautiful with in floor heat, plenty of seating, huge table to eat, modern kitchen with all plates, glasses, utensils. Anything you need is there. It is not on a trail so you should haul the sleds to South Range. We didnt mind after we walked inside. Sooo much better than staying at a typical UP hotel. Sandy was a great host.……
