“Quiet cozy cabin with beautiful views to lake. Really enjoyed fishing off the dock and kayaking! Everything was clean and as described. Beds were comfortable. Definitely would return. Neighborhoods are close, but we had no problems. ”

“Our first time at SML did not disappoint. Cabin was comfortable for the 3 of us and our pup. It was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and enjoy them on the deck. We spent a lot of time at the dock/floating dock relaxing, reading, swimming (yes it was cold!!), and soaking in the sun. We brought our canoe and paddleboard and the quiet no wake cove was perfect for paddling and exploring. A great place to unwind and get away from it all. Two things to note: bring sheets……

“This enchanting cabin was such a treat for us. The location afforded a quick trip into town while allowing a retreat into the woods by the lake for a quiet time of relaxation. Everything was as described making the cabin welcoming and comfortable. I was even impressed with the cleanliness of the porch. There was no pollen to contend with before we settled outside to enjoy the view of the lake. We will be back!”

“My brother, sister-in-law and I came to Rocky Mount for a concert at The Harvester. We loved Rocky Mount! This place was conveniently located to Rocky Mount. It was nice to sit on the porch and watch the boats, and we had a great breakfast at the Marina. We would stay here again!”

“Family of four, enjoyed this lake stay! ”

“A Minimalist Fancy! It's a cute place to lay your head and take a short shower. That's a very good description! We enjoyed our stay, and Lori was a great host. We also enjoy shooting at the sporting clay range. They have shotguns to rent and shells. The small hotel-style refrigerator, microwave, and toaster oven are just enough to get by for basic meals. Bring drinking water The only thing I recommend is to bring your entertainment! The TV I got decent reception by doing a little Macgyver with……

“I entertained 9 coworkers for two nights. Accommodations were awesome. Everyone had a 5 star time and we are already talking about doing it again next year. ”

“We book this property at least twice a year due to the close proximity of our daughter in the area. Maureen is always the ultimate host!! Highly recommend!!”

“Really enjoyed our stay at this clean and well-appointed cabin with fantastic deck views of lake and fully stocked kitchen. Our only suggestion would be to replace the queen bed mattress as it doesn't sleep comfortably. Otherwise, a wonderful time!”
