“Overall the property was very nice. It was great for a group with adults and teenage kids as there were two masters on the first floor and a hang out space downstairs for the kids. The location and dock for a boat as well as trampoline and second floor dock for jumping were enjoyed by all. Our only issues had to do with the cleanliness not being the best and the lack of some basics like more than one trash bag. We loved relaxing on the deck and the dock, enjoyed seeing all of the wildlife (with daily visits from deer and herons) and chilling on the couch watching TV once it was too chilly to sit outside any longer. We did not use the game room but it looked like it would be perfect for a family with kids. We rented a pontoon boat one day and had no problems pulling up to the dock. “My husband and our dogs spent the week here and it was everything we needed. Just be warned that the house is located at the bottom of a steep hill. The only grass available is at the top of the hill. I would recommend putting your boat in prior to arriving to the home, as backing it down was difficult. “Our family throughly enjoyed our week at this beautiful property. Between the pool, hot tub, and lake our children and grandchildren had a great time. It’s a great location, close to marinas, restaurants and the town of Moneta. The home is well appointed and had everything we needed.On the downside the location is not safe for running or riding bikes because the road shoulder is so narrow. This can be alleviated by driving to the state park. The property advertises 17-20 people but there are 17……

“My sisters and enjoyed a long weekend getaway and also hosted my son and daughter in law who traveled from NC. We had a beautiful stay, the views from the balcony were wonderful, saw the deer every morning. Very peaceful and quiet area, about a 15 minute drive to local restaurants. We visited Smith Mountain State park a few times, which is a beautiful park, about a 30 minute drive on the other side of the lake. We also enjoyed swimming right off the dock at the condo!
