“We (my partner, and my Mum) had a lovely stay here to celebrate my Mum's birthday and really appreciated the treats left for us! Check in was super easy with the lock box. The cottage is great for 2 guests as both bedrooms have an en suite (although the upstairs/loft bedroom doesn't have a door FYI). Plenty of seating in the living area too with the sofa, armchair, and even an electric armchair which came in handy for my Mum! “Elm Bank is a beautiful cottage in a perfect location in Lower Swell. The listing is accurate, if anything the pictures do not quite show you how large the cottage is. We were more than comfortable as a group of six adults. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of pots and pans, the fridge is expansive, and there's plenty of storage for food and other necessities. “This little cottage in in a great location in the village and has many pubs and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Because of its location car parking is not easy residents get very protective of their perceived space and put cones and no parking signs outside; in the summer months parking must be even worse. The property is an old cottage and is a little tired; it’s functional but has no finesse. The stairs to the bedrooms are difficult to negotiate and would not be suitable for the less……

This property is spacious and is equipped with everything and more than you would expect in your own home. The host was very accommodating, made sure we found the property and had settled in well.
