“Beautiful experience. The property was right on the bay with spectacular views and sunsets. The house itself was wonderful. It was comfortable and beautifully appointed with high quality furnishings and antiques.The kitchen had everything needed. AC and overhead fans provided excellent comfort. Kayaks and a canoe were great for cruising on the bay. They also had bikes available (we brought our own). Biking is a pleasure on the rural and flat terrain of the Eastern shore. Lastly (but not least)……

“I only had a slightly wider view of the water from a kayak- the panoramic view from the deck was peaceful and beautiful from first light to sunset (though the night coasts were relaxing as well). Inside was clean and had nice decorative touches. We had all we needed to cook in when we did. Easy to walk or ride around and an easy drive to surrounding attractions.We'll be back!”

“We had a fabulous time at this home! What a perfect place to end summer! We had a great time reading on the dock, watching the sunset and the birds - including bald eagles! There are also lots of ways to enjoy the outside - firepit, grill, kayaks, crab traps, etc. And the beds are super comfy and the kitchen well outfitted for cooking delicious food. Truly a gem!”

“Thank you for sharing your space with us, we had a lovely stay at the Waterfront Property. Very homey decor. The carriage house was very nicely built! Everything was well equipped and comfortable! We enjoyed time on the Kayaks and on the back patio during morning and sunset, saw a few cool birds! Thank you. **However, the stairs in the main house were tricky, with no railing- could be difficult for those with mobility issues or need bathroom during the night. **”

“Wonderful stay! Amazing private beach on the mouth of the Severn that is waist deep water, our whole family had a blast! We enjoyed swimming, paddle boarding, etc.. We would definitely come back! Unfortunately you're not able to take a water taxi directly from the property, you have to walk over to a nearby marina. They also only pick up one time per hour as an FYI so it's not the most convenient way to get downtown. I would definitely recommend the house, everything was clean and it was……

“Quaint cottage by the bay. Short walking distance to small beach. Home was clean and had everything we needed. It was just my husband and I so plenty of room. We are older so hill down and back up to beach with a full wagon of chairs etc. was pushing limits but close enough to drive down to drop off and pick up. All and all was a relaxing time. We love this area of the bay! Thanks to our great host for providing this vacation for us. ”

“This VRBO was very clean. Since it is a fairly new addition to VRBO, we thought it could use a little more info, like a portfolio with the combination to the bike locks, where to go to eat and visit, etc. Also, the only coffeemaker was a Keurig and we didn’t bring any K-cups. The 4 of us had a nice 50th Anniversary long weekend.”

Although Shawn was out of town at the beginning of our stay, her communication was top-notch. She checked in with us frequently to assure all was well. “We've stayed at a bunch of VRBO's over the last 10 years and this was one of our favorites. House was clean and had everything needed. We especially loved the screened in porch. The beaches nearby was great and we found so many shark's tooth fossils. ”
