“From the moment we drove onto the property, we fell in love with this place! What a relaxing oasis! Our host was wonderful and very communicative (answering any little inquiry we had). All of the windows on the back wall allowed you to enjoy the beautiful outdoors and view of the pool… not to mention seeing the deer come into the yard in the evening and night. Check-in was simple, the house had a ton of space for our family… we literally didn’t want to leave . A huge thank you to our hosts for……

“My parents, sisters and nephew and myself all stayed together at this house, traveling to the area to watch my brother graduate from the airforce. It was conveniently close to the Lackland base, only about a 15 minute drive. The area and homes surrounding the house are a bit run down, but most of the neighborhoods we saw in the area surrounding the base were similar. The house itself was nice, and had comfortable beds! I recommend it to any traveling to this area.”

“We greatly enjoyed our stay! The atmosphere and privacy were so relaxing!! We like to stay at "non-typical" types of lodging when we are just being tourists! This place has a unique charm with alot of iconic history that we really appreciated! The host was super great, and it was easy and affordable to Uber everywhere we wanted to go!”

“We stayed here for 4 weeks while in the process of moving out of our base home. The house was perfect for our group including grandparents down to kids ranging 8y to 1y. It’s comfortable, spacious, and very centrally located. It was well suited for a stay with children. Older kids loved the bunk bed, and for the toddler a pack-n-play, changing mat, and highchair were provided. The house initially had an infestation of ants.
