“We loved our stay here. We had our two teenage sons with us and the room was perfect. The staff was incredible- so helpful and answered all our questions. They called taxis for us, recommended delicious restaurants, and even stayed up for us to arrive nearly in the middle of the night. Each morning they had an amazing breakfast for our family, which was one of our favorite meals of the day. They would do a juice, fresh fruit, granola, and then would make toast or eggs if we wanted it. Safe……

“I had a solo stay at Vista de Angel Hotel with the purpose of relaxing and rejuvenating in Quito after a weeklong trip to the Galapagos. This hotel, located at the top of a hill, is the perfect place to decompress, relax, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the historical downtown with a panoramic view of the iconic statue in the distance. Even if you choose to stay on the hotel premises, there is so much to do, including journaling/reading in the cafeteria or on the patio, getting a massage……

“Hi highly recommend this hidden gem of a hotel near Old Town Quito. Mario and Blanco were fantastic hosts from helping us during our very late arrivals, to a wonderful breakfast each morning, helping us with suggestions on where to go in Old Town, making our dinner reservation & transport to the airport. “This is a great place if you just need to relax. It's located near several restaurants and convenient stores. It doesn't have a lot of modern conveniences (there's no refrigerator and no AC), but it is comfortable and quiet. It was a great place to rest.”

“Beautful secure quiet hotel three blocks from Fochs Square. I had room 4 which is just off breakfast area and had garden view. Wifi worked well. Bathroom is a little small which is comon in Ecuador. No tv or phone which I consider a plus. Could use a table and chair but other than that a good place to stay. ”

“All the staff were exceptional. Breakfast was limited but okay. I requested a room with a view, but didn’t realize it was 6 floors up—with no elevator! Do I asked for a lower-level room and got one on the third floor. The next night I moved to a lower floor, however, it was very noisy. Good thing I had my ear plugs. The location is fantastic!”
