“This is an extra-special place on a pier on the Columbia River with views on three sides of container ships and other boat traffic, and of the trolley and river walk and bubbles from the bubble man on the fourth. The kind of place where you just want to relax and watch it all. Great central location with free assigned parking. Well-appointed with everything we needed. So peaceful but plenty to see and places to eat in close by. Try Astoria Brewing right across the street. And check out……

However, the front desk staff resolved the issue quickly and we were moved to the correct room. We had a nice view of the water outside the room. Property is a little dated but everything was clean and comfortable. They had salmon chowder at 5:00 in the lobby, and the breakfast was good. The surrounding area is pretty industrial - we drove by a number of storage units to get to……

“Great place with a short walk on a private path to the beach, the house was great, well stocked and comfortable. The host was perfect, easy going, helpful and friendly, no list of 50 rules and things to do while there, simple and easy. Love the town, it was nice to be so close to the beach but a little drive to the house so it was quite and peaceful. Would stay there again.”
