“It went well . Location is amazing & so are host”

“There was a group of us who stayed here for two nights. It was close to the beach and you cannot swim in the water behind the property as it is water access for boats etc. to come in and out of the area. When we got there there was a few key items missing such as dishwasher pods, dish soap, oven mitts, hand soap in the bathroom. I did message the host about this and they offered to have the housekeeper bring some the next morning. However, we had already gone to Walmart to replace them. It also……

“Awesome natural surroundings. Cottage vibes and a lot of space for activities. Not giving 5 stars only because of power outage in the town which not really was anyone’s fault but we ended up wasting 4 hours of our trip with no water or electricity. ”

“This was the best short vacation ever. The cottage was extremely clean and absolutely beautiful. The view was serene – beyond words. The whole experience was beyond our expectations. Our host (Jim) was so accommodating and extremely responsive to any email/text I sent (and I sent many questions but none were ever ignored – he responded immediately). The property is a cottage dream. Side note - we are not cottage people but this property could possibly convert us. The setup of the cottage is……

“This is a lovely getaway with great hosts who work hard to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Our only problem was that being our first time staying in muskoka in the winter we were not prepared for everything being closed. It is a pretty location and I'm sure in the summer there are more options. ”

“Place was overall very clean Seating in the living room was limited Some of the drinking glasses, frying pans, can opener and cutting boards need replacing immediately Also tv system was setup for Netflix and Prime which you need subscriptions for and we did not know this ahead of time. We checked in on a Saturday and there was no one available at the number left in the Property Information Binder until Monday to help us”

“We have been renting cottages for 12 years, so this is not our first rental.. Great cottage in a private setting with great swimming- shallow sandy-bottomed water for the youngsters, but deep off the dock. However: 1/ the yellow floatie thing on the beach and the blue-topped cabana in the background of the photo of the property don't exist. 2/ lower bunkbed is unusable due to lack of support for the mattress 3/ BBQ is past its prime: works, but on its way out. Lid falls off if you're not……
