“We only stayed one night, but it was a great place to stay. The lady who checked us in was friendly. The cottage was roomy for our party of 3 plus dog. We didn't cook but it was nice to have kitchen facilities, plates, and silverware for heating up left-overs for breakfast before hitting the road. We would stay again if in the area. ”

“Clean, older cabin. The picture shows a simple white sided cabin. It does not show the cabin 6 feet to the side, with all kinds of stuff in the the yard. Also, the area has some nice smaller cabins, and some pretty run down cabins. Inside, just fine, outside, not so nice ”

“This is my second fall trip to the Turtle Cove property in Hiawatha National Forest. The house and property were excellent, clean, and ready when we get in the first evening. The location made for great adventures and the morning views of the fall colors were excellent as I sipped my coffee. I will look to stay at this property again on my next visit to the area.”

“It was like staying at home. It was clean and absolutely beautiful. The rooms are very nice size. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is amazing and you have everything you need. The most surprising addition is that there is a combo washer and dryer for clothes, which is incredible! Don’t hesitate, don’t keep looking! This is the place for you and your family/friends! “The cabin is close enough to Pictured Rocks and all that Munising has to offer, restaurants and activities. The cabin had all the needed amenities for cooking, recreation and comfort. My family enjoyed the boats and yard for outdoor play. The host had great communication. ”

“We truly enjoyed our vacation at this beautiful property! The house was exceptionally clean, and we loved the way it was decorated. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, town, and restaurants. As a family, we hiked nearly thirty miles over the course of our time there and had fun putting together two puzzles. The pictured rocks, hiking trails, and cool weather made for a great trip! We hope to come back soon.”

"The first night I was arranged to stay behind the elevator, which made me feel uncomfortable and vibrated. Because it was a standard double room with two beds, it was better for me to sleep in the other bed. Since I had placed two reservations, the girl at the front desk said that I had to move to the room downstairs for the second night. I said it was inconvenient, and she said there was no other way because the room was fully booked. The next day I asked another woman if I could not move to the first floor, and she said yes. I checked and found that the room rate I paid to Expedia for the second night was more expensive than the first night. Why did the hotel move me to a pet-friendly room on the first floor? It would be very inconvenient for me to move back and forth, which would affect my schedule."
