“Easy to find and near a lot of hiking and boating activities. Inside was clean but musty. Outside could use a cleanup. Overall it met our needs.”

“Communication with Julie was great from day one of booking. She reached out to see how we wanted the rooms set up and made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it when we arrived. She even sent directions on how to get there and told us to save them in case of spotty cell service (and this definitely came in handy!!). The house was clean and in a great remote location but also a great spot as a central point for all of the waterfall chasing we did. This is where Julie really shined and came……

“The treehouse was well stocked with items you would need. We loved the location, the views of the river were beautiful. Nice to have a full kitchen, as food and coffee shops are limited in Minising. Great time at Pictured Rocks!”

“This property was a very luxurious and satisfying way to enjoy the Munising / Pictured Rocks area attractions. We spent a really enjoyable week here and couldn’t have asked for a better location or amenities from our lodging. The luxury of having two full bathrooms (even though there were only two of us!) was a real plus! And all the other features of this home were also greatly appreciated - a very nice and accessible garage, a delightful back yard / patio area with lots of grilling and seating……

“Very clean and very functional for the size of the house. You can tell it’s an old house but updated and nicely decorated! Location is great, right in downtown Munising. We really enjoyed our stay!”

“This place was great! We were up in that area for a long weekend to check out Waterfalls. It was 15 min drive to Pictured Rocks. Was in a private area and was very well kept up. The mosquitos were intense when we first got there guessing because l you are right off of the au train river. However, we had brought thermacells so we were able to enjoy the hot tub and the deck area. Highly recommend. ”

“The house accomodated 6 adults nicely. Direct access to the snowmobile trail and casino. Would stay again if in the area.”

“House had all the amenities we needed. It was clean and comfortable. We had two families, so the separate “wings” of bedrooms/bathrooms were nice. Town is very small but close to Munising. It’s a great home base for Pictured Rock hikes. Would stay again!”

“Great place to stay. Kitchen had everything we needed. Location was great. Quick walk and you are at the beach. Ice cream shop close by is very good. Great communication with owner.”

“Haven’t been able to go on vacation with my husband and son because we have three needy dogs. This place was perfect for the whole family!! Although it was too cold to swim, we kayaked and fished quite a bit. The swing in front of the bonfire was my favorite place all weekend. We did make it to see some of the local waterfalls and beaches that were dog friendly but it was hard to venture out with a perfect spot like this. We brought food to make, instead of going out to eat at restaurants……

“My family and I stayed at La Casita for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary. When we arrived Lisa had left a delicious loaf of local bread and jam as a anniversary gift! Thank you again! The location is very quiet and remote yet really very conveniently located and easy to get to many trails, outlooks, waterfalls, etc. The cabin itself was super clean, cozy, well stocked, and well decorated. The luxury appliances, the pizza oven, and the heated tile were a great addition to the……

"The first night I was arranged to stay behind the elevator, which made me feel uncomfortable and vibrated. Because it was a standard double room with two beds, it was better for me to sleep in the other bed. Since I had placed two reservations, the girl at the front desk said that I had to move to the room downstairs for the second night. I said it was inconvenient, and she said there was no other way because the room was fully booked. The next day I asked another woman if I could not move to the first floor, and she said yes. I checked and found that the room rate I paid to Expedia for the second night was more expensive than the first night. Why did the hotel move me to a pet-friendly room on the first floor? It would be very inconvenient for me to move back and forth, which would affect my schedule."
