We loved the view from the hot tub, the cozy fireplace inside for a more relaxing evening or the outdoor fire pit to roast marshmallows and hot dogs! We cannot wait to make another trip back! The boat dock is quite the walk from the cabin so if a person brought their golf cart that would be ideal. ”

“Poppy's Place was as advertised, plus! It was clean and comfortable. Beds on 3 floors giving everyone privacy and space for alone time. There was a nice family room with a cathedral ceiling and comfortable seating. Kitchen was well stocked. There were multiple screened porches, the largest with a hot tub. There were ceiling fans with two on the porch, which were much appreciated to cool off and still enjoy being outside. There was a fire pit with chairs and the hosts left the fixings for……

“We stayed 3 nights and had zero problems. The house was clean and the hosts were very quick to respond to any questions. The driveway is super steep but we got in and out just fine. And although we were bummed the lake had already been drained (early Oct), the video games, foosball table, hot tub, and fishing poles were a great plus! Kitchen is fully stocked if you want to make home cooked meals but all commercial shops/restaurants were about 30 mins away if needed. Morning views are amazing!”

Having our own dock was tons of fun and we loved every minute out on the water and sitting on the screened in porch. House was stocked with everything you could need and more! We cant wait to return.”

“We had a great time. The house was very comfortable and had all the amenities you would need. There is a lot to do in the area. We relaxed, pontooned, fished, went into Gatlinburg area, etc. Hanging around the dock was the highlight. The kayaks are right there to use. Caught some largemouth and bluegills. The hosts were very friendly and attentive.”

“Very clean. Host has remembered the little details for example a special black washcloth for makeup and remote to change temp of air conditioner from bed. Has toaster, crockpot, toaster oven, spices....i would not recommend to a tall person. Feet may hang off bed.😆”

“Comfortable enough but the building and finishes were a bit "tired". Games like foosball and billiards weren't playable based on the uneven pitch of the building. There weren't enough towels, soap in the dispensers or dish detergent for the duration of the stay. Also, with the lack of centralized HVAC, nothing could dry out. One bedroom didn't have a door (which may have been intentional since it had no air conditioner in the room). Overall, fine for a bunch of grown men but wouldn't return with……
