“quite a long walk from train station ( 1 km) no taxis! but pretty well the closest. bar is also reception (which was great as I was desperate for a beer after bus substituted for train! efficient small lift, comfortable room with large comfy bed & plenty of electric plugs. quiet in room despite it being a Saturday, although restaurant full with waiting list. great well priced Italian meal (despite being promoted as Sushi - which was available -after a fashion)! slept well. Owner opened breakfast……

“Établissement incroyable qui donne sur la place principale avec une très belle architecture et un confort digne d’un palace. Personnel à l’écoute et parking non couvert disponible via une réservation vivement conseillée. Même conseil pour le spa qui n’est pas inclus dans le prix de la chambre (malheureusement c’était complet à notre arrivée). “We loved our four-night stay at B&B Al Carotin. Julio is super friendly and always at hand. The property has balconies overlooking the valley and mountains, and it was so relaxing just to sit out on the balcony, drink in the views, and let your shoulders drop. We took a day trip to Tirano and took the train up to Switzerland, which is the same line as the Bernina Express. We had a couple of very enjoyable days by the lake. We'd love to come back.”

“Appena arrivati il proprietario ci ha confessato di non avere più posto e che non sapeva dove metterci, ciò nonostante io avessi prenotato una camera tripla e ci fossimo aggiornati sull'orario di arrivo un paio d'ore prima del nostro arrivo, dopo un po' di confusione generale ci ha messi a dormire in un divano letto in un sotterraneo senza la minima privacy e senza porte senza contare poi che per casa c'era sparsa altra gente, due signori ad esempio dormivano sul divano in salotto perché anche……
