“We had a wonderful stay at the Lakes. It’s such a beautiful setting with so many activities on offer including a spa. We ate in the restaurant and it really is an experience- the food and service were outstanding. Bedrooms are beautiful - decor and furnishings. “Great hotel...thought it was pretty cool that it's the oldest inn in England. We had dinner at the hotel one night and food and service was very good. Breakfast also delicious and made to order!! The location is very convenient to shopping and other restaurants. There is not hotel parking available, but paid parking is nearby. Our room was on the second floor and no lift in the hotel. A staff member carried our bags up the stairs for us. Everyone was very pleasant.”
