“Excellent hotel with a fantastic view. Staff all very polite. Few minor issues: water by the pool should be free / there should be a water dispenser; guests should be able to borrow an iron (never been to a hotel where this wasn’t possible); staff don’t understand the concept of ice coffee which we found strange. “We had an amazing time at Hotel Villa Dirce. The hotel is essentially carved into the side of the mountain overlooking the lake and is absolutely picturesque. Our room (and it seems most of the rooms from what we could tell), had a truly amazing view out over the lake. The nearby town of Limone has cute restaurants and shops (can get crowded during peak times), and is a 0.8 mile walk from the hotel.
