“The front staff were very helpful in supplying me with a charger that fit the outlet. I didn't bring the right sized one. Very pleasant and central to everything I wanted to do. Also there were some very nice guests that I could have breakfast with and enjoy a pleasant start to my morning. As a single woman traveler, I felt very comfortable and safe here. I stayed in the single room which was very roomy, clean and comfortable.”

“The hotel is nicely furnished and designed. The AC was not working properly in our room so Cesar at the front desk upgraded us to a bigger room with functional AC. The breakfast was excellent. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend the Gounod for a visit to Nice.”

“Breakfast was good at the same time the staff there should understand that ordering eggs from back kitchen is part of the service. For staff to respond when ordering eggs that it will take 15 mins (which it didn't) is akin to refusing service.”

“Hotel is good except the towels have some weird smell and some marks which could not be washed (could have thrown them away but still used for guests) Breakfast is good but they let guests use spoon to take the tea leaves out which looks a bit sanitary concern. Fran OJ is nice and they have water for guests to fill in at the lobby is great. Staffs are friendly. The staff working in supplying breakfast is exceptionally efficient!! ”
