“Very nice place to stay”

“This is the oldest operating hotel in Utah and has been nicely restored. Staying there is like stepping into history. Our room had a gas fireplace setup like an old fashioned wood burning fireplace and plenty of themed decor. We were towing a trailer with our side-by-side and had no problem parking on the property. We had a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who appreciates the historical significance and charm of a hotel built in 1882. ”

“Pros- Nicely decorated and cozy. Fit our family of 5 well enough. Seemed to have most everything we needed. Cons- I don’t know if housekeeping did a thorough job before we entered. I could tell some places were overlooked. The dishwasher hadn’t been emptied, and there were clumps of hair/dust/dirt behind doors. Nothing too major, bedding and other places seemed okay. There was no advance notice that we would need to have a 4wd vehicle, so when it dumped snow for an entire day, we were very……

“Good location. Not too hard to get to. House is in good shape, but could use better cleanliness. Overall a good place to have a family get together.”

“We have stayed at this property two or three times over the last 2 years. We will be heading back next month and renting the same place. The only bad experience we had this time was that the power went out because of storms. We didn't know how long the power would be out so we decided to pack up and leave that night. Cutting our trip short was sad but it was no fault of the property owner. ”
