We’ve rented this cabin several times over many years and we always return . We’ve been through many seasons at this cabin in each time has been just as enjoyable as the last. I highly recommend this Cabin for your stay and the owner is always willing to help and check in is easy”

“What an amazing home to visit and perfect for experiencing a good snowfall. We so enjoyed the amenities -- hot tub / two bathrooms / gas fireplace! And having ample toys and games available for our kids was a huge plus. We would definitely recommend it! ”

“Hickory House is the perfect place for our multigenerational family/friends group to reconnect and enjoy some snow fun. The house is great, with extra kitchen space and a perfect table for meals or game nights. The hot tub is a relaxing treat after a day of skiing. Kudos to the plow team who kept the roads to the house well groomed! We had a great stay!”

“This house was one of those old spacious houses that make you want to go buy one tomorrow. I especially enjoyed the dinning room and the living room. It was incredibly peaceful watching the fire crackle while the new year came in and than in the morning watching my kids eat breakfast with the snowfall as a back drop in the bay window. We have no complaints although anyone wanting to experience this house do take the property managers warning on no local grocery stores. We did but we thought……

“The house is great and would be wonderful in spring, summer, or fall. But in the summer when it’s hot, it is miserable. The house was 85 inside we we arrived and hovered above 80 during the other days. We understand that some houses don’t have A/C, but I think this should have been communicated directly. Also, on the check in day, someone could have opened the windows or turned on a fan. Also, the listing states “lake”. There is a pond (not a lake), but it is 20 minutes away. There is a pond……

“Cute cabin and even cuter animals! Great for us (2 adults and 1 child). Comfortable stay. Downstairs bedroom was cold but extra blankets were provided. Note that the shower is very narrow. We loved how friendly the cats are!”

“My husband and I stayed at the river retreat for a long weekend for our anniversary. We enjoyed fishing in the river! I forgot before leaving that the house did not have TV, because I was going to bring one with me. It actually ended up being a much better vacation because we did not have the TV. We spent every night at the fire pit enjoying each others company with well stocked firewood! Thanks for the use of the house!”

“My husband and I, along with our pup, stayed here while we hiked and enjoyed a fall getaway. The property was clean and comfortable. Hot tub was also very clean and enjoyable. We spent most of our time hiking so we didn’t have much time left over to take full advantage of the activities provided by the host. Communication with Tiffany was convenient and easy. She was very responsive to any questions we had. Would stay here again!”
