“We stayed at this property for 4 nights and we unfortunately had some bad experiences, most of which were avoidable by the property managers - we had to deal with mice running around in the house, not cool, not hygienic and freaked everyone out- house was in beaten up shape with need for lots of updates - beds were saggy, couches were old, dinning table seats had no cushions and hurt our butts, drains were clogged- TVs are old and running on not so reliable platforms- Basketball hoops was broken……

“This property was amazing , from the hot tub to the Mountain View. I would recommend this to anyone one going to Donner Lake. It is close to West Beach and a 10 minute beautiful drive around the lake to the State park entrance. The most impressive thing about this is the host. 10/10 in communication and accommodation. I cannot tell you enough how amazing the host. Thanks John!!! ”

“Perfect trip! Location was excellent with lake just across the roadway from the house. Perfect views. House is very comfortable and clean. Well stocked in the kitchen with dishes, pots and pans, etc. We did a lot of cooking using kitchen and bbq provided on the deck. Fresh linens, towels, and toiletries all provided by the host. Highly recommend this place. Host, Max, stayed in touch with us before and after stay to be sure our needs were met. He was a joy to work with. Excellent……

“This property was great, our family was very happy with the house. The West End Beach is only 2 min drive from the house and a fabulous place to hang out for the day on Donner Lake with bathrooms and picnic tables and a playground for the kids. There is a very small beach across the street but it is very rocky and was hard for the little kids. There is a fishing dock right across the street and it was a fun place for the kids to catch crawdads. Over all our family gives this house a 5 star……

“We loved our long weekend stay at this home. It was fully equipped with kitchen utensils and appliances, games, soap and towels in the bathrooms. Plenty of room for everyone to everyone to be comfortable. Great little backyard area with a hot tub, and nice front porch to sit and watch the lake. We loved walking up the street to the beach, and on the pretty hiking trail on the hill. We would stay here again! ”

“This cute A Frame house has a lot of great amenities, including a one car attached garage and a loft that has an actual door that closes on the sleeping space - so many lofts are fully open to below and thus loud! Check in was easy. Thanks! ”

“Overall, excellent. We stayed 2 nights in winter. Roads were clear. A few other homes in sight but strong sense of privacy. Heating and cooking were good. Good tmobile data reception. Didnt try streaming. TV with DVD player and HDMI input. Driveway is between Bonnynook Rd intersection and american flag. Home is very clean and well equipped for your stay. Hosts are very accommodating and friendly. Top rating.”

“This house is beautiful, well stocked, clean and comfy. The location is great, close to Tahoe Donner ski area and Glacier Way Trailhead (for snowshoeing, xcountry ski & snow play). The view from the house is amazing. The house has garage parking and interior staircase to house which was transporting gear in snow. Would definitely stay here again.”
