“Ich übernachtete auf Durchreise hier und war eigtl überzeugt, in einer sehr guten Unterkunft unterzukommen, da die Kritiken so gut waren. Dass ich bei diesem Preis keinen Luxus erwarten kann, war mir klar, aber Sauberkeit durchaus. Das Bad war aber leider noch mit Haaren des Gastes vorher bestückt, was ich extrem eklig fand. Das "Frühstücksbuffet" war jetzt auch wirklich nur sehr einfach, aber es war ok.”

“Very nice welcome by our host and we started immediately with wine tasting with cheese and bruschettas. Although we were the only guests she offered to make dinner for us. But we went into the centre of Montepulciano (walking distance) and found a few open restaurants. Beautiful centre with a few shops open despite the winter period closures. Execellent wines in Montepulciano! ”

“La Chiusa was magnificent. Gorgeously restored historical property nestled in their own olive grove, caring attentive staff, and a young chef creating absolutely delicious new takes on traditional Tuscan classics. We walked around the grounds, did some stargazing, and enjoyed the personal attention and the cooking class. 12/10, 3 thumbs up, 6 stars. Can't recommend it highly enough. We cannot wait to go back.”
