It suited our needs just fine. special thanks to the gentleman at the front desk that helped us jump our rental car when the battery died. He wasnt able to jump us with his battery pack, but he kindly put us in touch with another guest (thanks Louis!) who helped us with his own……

“I had an absolutely amazing time here, it is even more beautiful than the pictures. Where do I begin! Right from the start we were greeted by welcoming staff who gave us a tour of the property on a golf cart as we reached our cabin. Golf carts are offered and easily available for a lift to anywhere within the property that you’d like. The shower pressure was perfect and hot as well. Our cabin was curated to feel cozy and came equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels. The saunas……

Go with the flow and be nice to the staff because during high season they take care of lots of people without up staffing. ”

“The Wick is conveniently located literally across the street from the Hudson NY Amtrak rail station. My room was very nice, spacious, with comfortable bedding and lighting. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a problem with my stuck entry door and it was immediately addressed. Bathroom was very spacious - good water pressure and quality amenities. I had a full American breakfast in the lobby area and it was tasty. I felt safe as a solo traveler - not that the property is at the end of……
