“The whole stay was splendid. Paul is a wonderful host, a phenomenal cook, and a kind person. Our room was beautifully decorated, and the shower was a huge bonus to me. I love a piping hot shower, and detachable faucet so that I don’t have to get my hair wet or humid. Hardly any place has that! Our room did! The house has an interesting history, and I love the fragrance as you walk in. Like years of good breakfasts with bacon and coffee, nice furniture polish and books. It will be our go-to place……

“The house was nice, very clean and plenty of hot water. The owners were quiet upstairs and did a lot to make our stay great. I didn't take off any points for things that were personal preference. The beds were too soft, the day bed was the only firm mattress but a bad back meant I couldn't move the trundle mattress to the bedroom and the friend snores too loud and has restless legs to stay in the same room. The den chairs/couch were too low or soft. The steps on the right side of the house were……
