We didn't use either fire place but there are instructions for usage if you do. Love the lighting in the living room -- fun vibe. Beds were comfortable, too. “This has to be one of the nicest locations I have stayed in. Everyone was blown away with the house. It was so well equipped and had everything we needed. We were in town for a graduation and it provided a nice place to relax in the morning and evening. Rooms were great. Kitchen well equipped. Peaceful and safe neighborhood. The weather was rainy but there is a nice patio and yard if the weather was better. Our hosts responded quickly to a few questions we had. Everything in perfect working……
