“What a beautiful property right at the base of the slope! Even though it was summer, there was plenty to do on property, and we took quite a few hikes off property as well as explored the downtown area. The front desk team was fantastic. We had a minor issue with our washer not working and the speed with which they responded and took care of the issue was amazing! The unit was fantastic! We could not have been more comfortable during our stay. We will definitely be returning!”

“A perfect spot for a simple getaway. Everything was clean and cozy, and we did end up seeing a moose while out here! Mindy was kind and communicative, and Walden is a cute little town. We ventured just outside of town and stargazed in perfect skies. ”

“Very cute cabin with lots of sleeping rooms for a group of friends! Close to steamboat but also far enough away to have more isolation/privacy. The hosts are great too - they communicate well and make things easy. Highly recommend. ”

“The Trapper Cabin is rustic with modern appliances. The bath is functional and well-maintained. The kitchen area has basics to prepare all your meals there. There is space for two but I wouldn’t have wanted to try to squeeze in a third. We kept a lot of our things in our truck to give us room to move around inside. We didn’t use the common area “Hitching Post” but the guest next door seemed to enjoy it. The cabins are pretty close together so we were closer to our neighbors than we expected……

“What an absolutely wonderful and amazing stay. Peaceful, tranquility in the mountains, yet still not more than a 15 minute drive into Steamboat. Just the right amount of rustic but complete with modern amenities and oozing with charm. It was so hard to leave.”
