“If you want a cabin in the woods but don’t want full rustic, this place is for you. Very comfortable bed, bedding, pillows. Very clean. Landscaping was beautiful. Orientation of cabins feels private. Front porch had table, 3 chairs, and grill. Very nice to have comfortable couch at the end of the bed. Small kitchen table and chairs. Great restaurant within walking distance with a sidewalk to connect the two. Would highly recommend. ”

“covered parking which was very convenient with tunnels to the towers... Once in our room we had a fantastic view of the mountain and plaza... Rooms were very accommodating and the balcony was a great addition. My in-laws were thrilled and the kids had a great experience. Will frequent ”

“We have a mixed review. The house is in a good spot on a dead end street with the Colorado river near by in an open meadow. We really enjoyed watching the wildlife from the property. During the stay we saw moose, deer, and even a bear! We also enjoyed the firepit every night with s’mores. However, the house lacked some basic necessities. For a house that sleeps 8, there were only 3 towels. There were no wash cloths in any of the baths and only the bottom fitted sheets on the beds. Given this……

“Beautiful cabin with amazing views. Perfect spot for a family. Kitchen had everything we needed plus some. We were lucky enough to watch a bald eagle from the deck. When we are back in Grand Lake we would love to stay here again. ”

Driving to the Rocky Mountain entrance was very close.The shortage of water was an issue because the area was in a drought, but we managed ”

“This is our 2nd stay in Moose Haven. Perfect for family time -- plenty of space for our family 4. The riverside location is wonderful. A great spot for coffee in the morning and to drop in your paddle board, kayak or fish right in front of the cabin. Lemmon Lodge location is fantastic. You can walk or bike to everything in town. The private beach is great as well -- nice views and sunsets. The cabin is well maintained and well stocked with everything you need. ”
