I loved the views of the pond, the eagles, and having plenty of space for puzzles, drawing, and reading. I took a speaker for tunes. No wifi but my cell worked fine, as did my hot spot. (Both are Verizon.) The king size bed is super comfortable, and I appreciated the nicer linens.Great location — 10 minutes from groceries, 15 minutes from downtown and……

“We stayed this past week with our two dogs, and it was a wonderful family vacation. We stayed in the Blacksmith Cottage, which was fully-furnished with everything we needed. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked with pots and pans, and the oven and fridge were great to have. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. The grounds were quiet and seemed very safe - we did hear the trains a few times, but with a white-noise speaker and some soft earplugs, it didn't bother us or the dogs at all. If……

“Exactly what we were looking for! Indoor stove ready to go upon our arrival. Very cold weekend but the stove works really well to keep it warm inside. Gas grill outside. Everything you need to do basic cooking inside. Would absolutely stay again!”
