“My family of four stayed at Dan's over Christmas. The downtown location was incredibly convenient, but the highlight for my kids was definitely the theater room. Between the theater apartment and the studio, we had two differently styled spaces to give us room to move and differentiate our activities. Would definitely stay again!”

My business partner and I utilized the property for a day-long strategic planning session while we were in Des Moines to attend a professional event. The space was much more comfortable and flexible than trying to accomplish our tasks in a cramped hotel room.”

“We were here for a conference and were so close to the event center where it was held. I think it could’ve been helpful having resources of how to use the skywalks as I think we maybe could’ve used those to get to the event center if we knew. The apartment was perfect size for all of us and the beds were comfy and clean. One of the bathroom towels had beard trimmings so that’s our only complaint. Thank you to the host for getting back to us quickly and having specific directions on how to get……

“The property was as advertised and in great shape. Perfect place for downtown Des Moines and good communication from host on checking in and out. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that outside of the loft and the first floor bedroom it could have used some auxiliary heating due to the cold. Since it was january a lot of cold air gets in through the window which isn't the fault of the host but just be prepared. We would use it again despite this. ”
