“Great location, very quiet with beautiful walks to the lakes and surrounding village. Excellent equipped kitchen to prepare home cooked meals. Bed was very comfortable and the house was warm inside. ”
“This is my second stay at wild thyme and honey, this time with my mum and it was just perfect. The service is great and they go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. The food is delicious too. ”
“Very accommodating staffs, gave us a very warm welcome. Our room was at the end in the second floor, was nice and quiet. Room nicely heated, get some insects in the room if windows are opened(even in winter), but not a big problem at all. Overall a very lovely hotel with nice dinner and breakfast. Beautiful town to visit! ”
“Great stay, very clean room, good value for your money and 15 minute walk into centre. Room was excellent apart from no air conditioning but a fan was provided. ”
“The location, the staff, and the hotel were perfect for our last two nights in the U.K. On hindsight, I should have reserved a bigger room as the bed was full size and a little snug for two. We did request to change it and to our surprise we slept pretty well. The breakfast was excellent (lots of food) and the outdoor seating area and inside pub were very nice.”

The inn faces an open ground with tables for drinkers and a creek which gave a good mix of environment. The rate was super reasonable which made me initially thought that breakfast was not included and turned out to be inclusive. We ate dinner one night and the food was incredible. The host and hostess were very……
“One of the best places weve stayed..friendly helpful staff room very clean ..food hot and very good ..find it hard to find fault..outside areas could do with a clean up but that would just be nit picking ..great place great stay highly recomend

“I've not stayed in a Greene King hotel before (I've plenty of experience of their pubs though!) but it was a nice place to spend a night. The hotel seems fairly newly built and is clean and comfortable.
Pros: the bed had plugs and USB sockets right next to it (I hate hotels that make you plug your phone in on the other side of the room). The staff were friendly and welcoming, and gave us extra towels as soon as we asked. Rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet, which honestly is all you really……
“A very pleasant stay as a family - staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Had dinner and breakfast at the hotel too and both were excellent. ”
