“It was great. Really cozy place and loved the green in the back which we hiked in the mornings. The view was amazing and the owners were very quick to respond if I had a few questions.”

“This house is gorgeous! The layout is amazing! It allowed the young adults in our group to socialize without disturbing the older adults! The decor is easily one of the best we have seen and we have stayed in a LOT of vacation rentals! The porch is seriously amazing! We found the location to be perfectly situated for all things we love to do at the Frio. We are Texas Parks annual pass holders so we booked reservations at Garner for each day of our stay! It’s the perfect place to hang in the……

“We are a group of adults ranging from 40-52 from the DFW metroplex. We tend to book exactly what we want, while paying the price it costs to get it. The house was so beautiful & spacious, with bathrooms in each sleeping space. Travelers know how hard that is to find! We loved all the labels too, which clearly let visitors know where things were or how they worked. The main items up for discussion with our group was the lack of shades in the front of the house, which caused it to be a little warm……

“Had some plumbing issues but overall everything else was great. My family and I mostly enjoyed the outside of this house. The pool, the bar & the games outside was so much fun!”

“We wanted a cabin off the “beaten path” and that is exactly what you should expect. It had everything we needed. It was clean, welcoming and expect the deer to come right up to the front porch. We had a great time hiking at Garner State Park and coming back to the cabin to relax, fix dinner and watch a movie before calling it a night. ”
