“A nice hotel adjacent to the main road by Connell Bridge. We had room 8, which was a sea view room without a balcony. The room was very nice. All was very clean and looked new. The shower was excellent. A negative point is that the sun shines into the hotel all afternoon, so our room was extremely hot. The single window opens about 3 inches only. They provide a small fan but this is very ineffective. They should shut the blinds before guests arrive in sunny weather.

“Very comfortable apartment. High level of cleanliness and good furnishings. Bed super comfortable, useful dressing room. Large bathroom with shower; toiletries provided. Excellent location; 5 mins from railway station, buses and ferries. Very close to supermarket and food hall.
Beautiful views from Pulpit Hill and McCaigs Tower. Some lovely restaurants and shops in Oban

We had a beautiful view during our walk down to Oban town, caught a gorgeous sunset, and enjoyed dinner at the Oban Brasserie (in the Perle Oban hotel). Thank you for a lovely stay!”

“This is a waterfront property. We had a room with a private bathroom and the view of the loch. Gorgeous picture to wake up to. Bar downstairs did not bother us at all even we slept with open windows ( no air conditioning). Room was clean and bigger than in some European hotels we stay. Staff is friendly. The communal kitchen downstairs has refrigerators for guests and fully equipped. Also it is fridge with a food you can buy. The only negative experience is someone decided to smoke at 5 am right……
“Enjoyed our stay - beautiful location in glorious weather!! ☀️ Just a few extra touches would have made all the difference, such as upgraded amenities in our room (providing tissues, magnifying mirror, better quality toiletries etc) and more varied dining and breakfast menu options, otherwise a fairly standard 4 star hotel.
Biggest issue was the creaky floor above our bedroom, sounded like the elephants were having a dance!!
All in all however, we would definitely stay there again 😊”
“Amazing country manor! Gracious rooms. Wonderful staff. Delicious breakfast! Very close to Oban. Quiet!
The only slight I had was the over abundance of smell. Each area has reed diffusers and it is a lot of smell. As someone sensitive to that it was a bit much. I put our reed diffuser in a closet and then it was fine.
Would I recommend this to friends? 1000%! You have to see it to believe it. Absolutely amazing! ”

The worst thing is no wifi connection at all because they are fixing it for days. The hotel should inform guests who want to book the hotel in advance rather than saying sorry after we arrived. Really bad experience as we are cheated.”
“This is an old hotel. It's used by tour groups. That tells you what to expect. Yes, it is a bit dated but the rooms are fine and the staff are absolutely lovely. Breakfast is good and generous.
Oban is full of very expensive hotel rooms in the season and I was very happy with the rate Expedia gave me.
It's right by the bus and train stations and very near the ferries.
