“Working for a CPA means being unable to get away during the typical spring break. So I always try to take a trip in early May. This year it was me, my adult son and adult niece. We come to Michigan often but usually stay in a hotel. This year I decided to try something different, and I'm very glad I did. “Heron's Perch was a great spot for our family reunion. Such a cute, little cottage with something for everyone-games, kayaks, fishing, beautiful sunsets, etc., not to mention close by options in Shipshewana and Middlebury. The owners, who have a seasonal home next door, were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! ”

“This home has it all. We never left the property for the 4 days we were there. Very clean, plenty of towels, linens, both upstairs and downstairs kitchens had everything you would need for cooking. The rental had plenty of spices and condiments for items that we forgot to bring. Access across all three levels of the home was easy, especially to access the lower level (you could drive to the lower level to unload or load). Plenty of parking. We can't say enough about the games and……

“Emma’s Place was an excellent choice for 3 friends, heading to a show the Bluegate PAC in Shipshewana, just a 15 minute drive. It was clean, spacious, and well-equipped! Highly recommend!”

“Nice relaxing property on a beautiful quiet lake.”

“Great place, listing was accurate. We stayed with 6 friends for relaxing and fun weekend. Plenty of room in living room and big table for gathering around to play games. House was very clean. Weather was very hot, but A/C worked well. Nice big tree provided shade outside. Good view of lake. Pellet grill onsite that works great. Beds were all comfortable. King bed and upstairs floors were 'squeaky' Quick responce from host. We would stay again.”

“This was a great place to take my family of 7 for some summer time pool fun. Plenty of space, large pool, and hot tub were used a lot. Check-in and out was easy, and the communication with the owner was very good. Will be staying there again!”

“It’s not easy to find a 3 bedroom 2 bath accommodation in Elkhart, which we needed for a family of 5 adults. This house fit our requirements very nicely. It was comfortable and had plenty of room. ”
