“We had a great experience even tho we were without some of the “physical amenities”. The place was beautiful, well cared for and the breakfast options were variable in the well stocked kitchen. We are going back again in a month for another stay in the place that my husband would like to own!!!”

The house had all modern appliances but still had the charm and rustic feel of an older farmhouse.No issues with our check in. Our stay was for 7 days and never had any issues that needed a call made to the home owners. Would definitely stay again if we get back to SugarLake.”

“Nicest private home we have ever stayed in. Tastefully restored elegant Victorian home with all modern amenities. Historical connection to the region helps make it even more special. Private large garden and patio area is lovely. We only used three of the six bedrooms most which have very comfortable king sized beds. Great place for larger groups to stay and relax.”

No-nonsense, fenced rear dog yard, cool AC, clean sheets, abundant blankets and towels, great water pressure, great location near lots of hiking and a short trip to Franklin/Oil City/Slippery Rock, and a very warm welcome from an amazing host. What more could you ask for? We would happily stay again!”
