“We loved our stay at The Nest. Some of our favorite features include a very roomy home that accommodated our party of 7 easily, nice and private, loved the firepit, close to the beach for rock hunting and we had the opportunity to see some awesome Northern Lights during our stay. The host was great, place was clean and would definitely stay again!”

“This cottage is very comfortable in a safe, calm and peaceful setting. It had everything we needed and we were even able to borrow dog beds to make sure our dogs didn't get cozy on furniture! It is a perfect location to explore Copper country. We did several hikes in the area including Mt. Baldy, Black Creek, Eagle Harbor trails, Horseshoe Harbor, and the trail in the town of Central. After hiking in the rain one day, we fired up the common sauna for some extra relaxation.”

“This cottage was everything as advertised. When driving up to the property my husband commented “Wow, this is it!” after staying in a few other areas that were not as quiet and private. Right smack dab in wooded nature yet cleared grounds for exploring. Steps away from Lake Superior, we were able to enjoy the beautiful sunsets as well as search for the infamous Yooperlites. The cottage had everything we needed. It was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. We’ll definitely be back for a……

“This is one of the best rental houses I and my friends have stayed in. Yes it’s an older house and has been maintained. Had lots of amenities and kitchen utensils and towels and laundry detergent etc etc. Beach is just across the street. Smaller restaurants within two blocks. Host is very quick in response to any questions. 10/10 rating!! ”

“This really is a great location. It's close to various shops and restaurants. Its right next door to a grocery/ convenience store, very helpful. The house was very clean upon arrival and it had everything we needed. The owner even had some snacks set out and beverages in the fridge, which was a nice touch. The owner was very responsive to emails and questions. We will definitely be back next summer. We had a great time. ”

“Our extended family of 11 (including kids, grandkids, and parents) stayed here for a week at the end of August for our annual rock hunting / beach relaxing vacation. We could not have asked for a better vacation. Easy to understand check in instructions, great location, and the beach was awesome. There was plenty of room for our 11 people and a roomy back deck with propane fire pit for nightly relaxing session. The house was in great condition and it had everything we needed already there……

“The cottage was great. The kitchen had everything we needed. We were able to see lakers/ships pass in front of the cabin when the weather was clear as well as see stars from inside the cabin with the large picture windows. There is one bedroom with a double and twin bed and there was a king bed in the master bedroom which was very comfortable. I do not normally sleep well when out of town because the beds aren't comfortable but the mattress was very comfortable and I slept great. We were also……
