“What a beautiful village and setting. The old white hart is a wonderful building, original features with tastefully done modern twists. Our double bath was more like a small pool, truly truly spacious. We loved it! ”

“ This is a wonderful B&B tucked away in the Northamptonshire village of Brigstock. We stayed in The Willow room for 2 nights. The room has a super comfy king size bed, with that home from home feeling. The roll top bath and walk in shower was a pleasant surprise! Sam was the most gracious host, her attention to detail, super breakfast choices, and cookie treats in our room. We will most definitely be back to Swallows Rest on our next UK visit, and have no hesitation in recommending a stay here.”

“Fantastic staff ALL so friendly. Rooms were spacious and clean. We got the package deal that included dinner and breakfast. Dinner was great and happy with options available. Breakfast plenty to choose from. Can't fault anything. We used the facilities onsite gym and pool. Incredible gym, well kitted out with decent equipment. Pool was great. Stream room and sauna were good size, didnt feel cramped when other people in. Overall great overnight stay. Would definitely stay again ”

“We loved our stay at Rushton Hall and will be returning as soon as we can. The building itself is extremely beautiful and you feel like you’re stepping into history. The grounds are lovely for a walk (although would be nice to have more outside lighting at night, as it was very dark trying to walk around after dinner). The spa has excellent facilities - the swimming pool is warm (which is rare!) with a comfy hot jacuzzi and dry and wet sauna/steam rooms, and plenty of beds around the swimming……

“Arrived at 2 pm, front desk asked us to come back at 3, eventually checked-in at 3 ish, front desk informed that the Spa closes at 4:30. Rushed to the Spa straight after check-in, and the woman at Spa told us the Spa closes at 3:45 instead because they need time to "clean-up". So we ended up spending 15 mins at the Spa.. Went to the Spa next morning, only to find out the Spa was closed the whole day due to "maintenance"! Complained to the front desk when checked-out, and the lady said "well,……
