“Location was good, beds were comfortable but the apartment was just in need of some tlc. Sofa was broken and a chest of drawers was falling apart. Would have been good if there were instructions for the washer/dryer. None of the three shaver points/lights worked either. Mentioned this in communication but nothing was done. Overall it was ok but we only stayed 2 nights. ”

“Wonderful breakfast. Had Aoife for my massage at the spa and was wonderful . Some redecoration work happening on ground floor which did not impact our stay. Breakfast was 7-10, we kindly got a reminder call at 0930 that breakfast finishes at 10 - without it we would have missed breakfast. Nice efficient Brasserie - clearly popular with locals , so am glad we booked a table. Reception very helpful . One of our party decided to stay extra night , and negotiated a good rate. Grounds lovely……

“A charming traditional hotel with a beautiful garden area. Breakfast was excellent, both food and service. The majority of the guests were seniors. It was a quick five minute walk to the main restaurant and pub area. I would go back sometime. ”

“The A/C did not work in two rooms that we booked for 2 days and no good solution given. We could not sleep for both nights. We complained and got a fan as an accommodation which did nothing”

“We loved our stay here! My only complaint would be the shampoo, shower gel combo provided. I would’ve preferred at least separate shampoo and body wash. Otherwise, the staff was so friendly and while the room is small- it was very comfortable.”

The room is lovely and comfortable. The large tub in the ensuite was a bonus. Breakfast was delicious, definitely don’t skip it. We will absolutely be back. ”
