“When first checking in there was a mix up with the rooms... but after that everything was great!”

“Older refurbished property in great condition. Clean, comfortable bed, great breakfast made to order and nice outdoor sitting area.. Don’t expect a lot of extras just a very nice basic property. We would definitely stay here again!”

“Very good location, in between the Tucson mountains and downtown, convenient to the highway and major roads. Good value for the money. Otherwise nothing too special, typical motel, bed was fine, mini-fridge was helpful, TV was a bit broken. Would not recommend a long stay there if you have money to stay somewhere else. Tucson has quite a homelessness problem, and you can see some very sketchy characters passing through the area, but the property itself seemed OK for the most part.”

“Just a quiet old motel that’s working hard to stay relevant. The front desk person was wonderful. He put my 86 year old mother and I near the lobby and even walked down, opened our room and turned the heater on for us. ”

“The Mariposa is under repair. Stopped at 5 pm, did not start until after 8 am next day. Restaurant service sucked. We were seated then the waiter went off without a drink order or leaving a menu to wait on another table. After 15 minutes we left for another nearby restaurant (Ragazzi) where food and service were excellent. ”
