“This was an unexpected trip due to a death in the family. Considering we didn't plan to travel to NYC, we were happily surprised this house was equipped with everything we needed, from new kitchen appliances like air fryer, rice cooker, and crockpot to hair dryer, garment steamer, plenty of towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc. The beds, sheets and pillows were hotel quality. The house was comfortable and homey. Plus it had parking! It's located in a very nice and quiet……

“Our family had the best time at Don’s lake house. The grounds are amazing with lakefront access. The fire pit and gazebo were big hits. Don was super communicative and answered any questions we had. There was plenty of room for our whole family and we can’t to return. ”

“Beautiful property, the photos do it justice, but the location (and peace) of the property can't be seen in just pictures. The family agreed one of the best places we've gotten, wonderful way to spend a late summer week on the lake.”

“The house was just as described on the listing. Very clean, beautifully situated right on the lake and stocked with everything you could need. Don was very easy to communicate with and had great suggestions regarding what to see in the area. Sunsets were beautiful and directly in front of the house as if they were choreographed! “Large comfortable home in great location with multiple views of the Hudson. Our family had a pleasant stay and would definitely return to Castle in the Sky.”

“We booked the property because our family is growing too large for all of the children and grandchildren to spend the holidays together. The “holiday house” as our 4 year old coined it was the perfect place to spend Christmas and Hanukkah. Large yet cozy and very well appointed. All of our communication with proprietors was prompt and helpful, and they had the driveway salted and plowed within hours of the (very picturesque) snowfall the day before Christmas. I would happily book here again. ”

“It's a very cute cottage and it fit our needs. The road getting there was quite rough, our van scraped on the bottom a few times, but the property itself was great. And she was a very attentive host, she replied right away when we had questions.Thank you very much!”

“The stay was beautiful. We arrived at the house and searched entire place to decide who would sleep where. We didn't get our the address until the day before we arrived. When I stay at a hotel, I get my room number right away. After the first day, I notified the host of the kitchen window, it was still broken the day we left. Notified the host about the stove and it was still dirty. Other than those things it was a pleasant place to stay. I would tell my friends about it. ”
