During our stay, the pipes froze so we didn’t have water for a period of time. The host was responsive and did send a plumber - however he ended up leaving the front door open when he left.. “I have stayed in several vacation homes in Nyack. Some were swankier, most were cleaner or better stocked, but none was more comfortable or in a better location. The neigborhood is quiet, the house has loads of privacy, and you can easily walk to anything in town. There is a short but very steep part on this walk, so bring some sneakers if walking in town is your thing. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to feel as though you LIVE in Nyack. This was my fourth stay at this house. ”

“Everything we needed for our stay was within walking distance. Allowed us to see our West Point cadets (2 of our children are cadets) multiple times a day while visiting. Also allowed us to feed them & their friends a home-cooked meal during our visit. Relaxing and comfortable house. Walking distance to several good restaurants, and even walking distance (though a little bit of a hike) to the grocery store. Washer & dryer were so appreciated! “Nice entryway, lots of room for shoes. 1st and 3rd floor bedrooms were spacious. Nice size livingroom. Need more cookware for kitchen, and would recommend fixing the exhaust fan in the bathroom, and a better foundation for the attic bed. Moving slats caused the mattress to sag, especially at the foot of the bed. We would stay again. ”
