“Nice open concept living room/dining room/kitchen was perfect for everyone being together but not crowded. The basement was fun for games and activities (such as an ongoing jigsaw puzzle). It had the perfect number of bedrooms for our group, including the one in the basement level that provided that little bit of extra privacy for our daughter's in-laws. It was idyllic, rustic without being too remote to run into town for groceries. Clean and well-maintained by the hosts without sacrificing the magic. The hosts were available but totally unobtrusive.
