“Everything about the Cat and Custard Pot was perfect. They were extremely welcoming offering advice and help. The room was spotless and had everything you needed. The evening meal was delicious. The basil linguine was the best pasta I had had outside Italy. We thoroughly recommend this place. ”

“Nice village hotel and our check in and room were good on the face of it. Other than the guy who checked us in, staff was generally rude. We had booked for breakfast at 08:00 on the first morning, and having travelled the previous day from Asia ended up waking earlier and found ourselves waiting in the breakfast room around 7:10, hoping to be able to request breakfast at 7:30 when it opened. We were greeted by a man in a hurry, brusquely telling us over his shoulder whilst rushing around doing……

“Exterior looks very run down. However, inside it was much better. The lobby area at the entrance to the rooms was clearly seen better days but was clean. The rooms themselves, whilst again very dated were spotlessly clean and reasonably well appointed. I had a good night's sleep. The room staff clearly do a very good job.”

“Lovely small room, we were in the courtyard next to the outside seating area. On a warm summer's evening, I would be worried about the noise from drinkers right outside the door.”
